movies download too long

Question

movies download too long

rented a movie, usually no problem, this time it played for three minutes and then said it had another 7 hours to download! Gave itunes the benefit of the doubt and came back later - same problem. What the heck is going on? Internet is fine, other streaming fine...come on apple, or anyone?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

OK, so first of all, we are not Apple here - we are just users like you. If the movie has stopped playing to continue downloading, then you need to make sure your Mac stays awake. If it goes to sleep, the download will stop. Let it download for a bit, then continue to watch your movie.
