My iphone has no service and it is not connected to a phone company and i forgot my password and it got locked how do i unlock it without having to go to an apple store?

You'll have to force the phone into recovery mode & restore it, as described here:

Whether you have phone service or not doesn't matter, but you need a sim card in the phone & the sim card must be valid. However, the sim card need not be activated.
Ah...that has nothing to do with the OP's situation, & a carrier can't help the OP.
