Jun 16, 2013 12:18 AM in response to Zulaiby Ocean20,Some Middle Eastern countries have had facetime disabled on all phones sold there by their governments so if you still don't see facetime then maybe you bought your phone in one of these countries

Mar 7, 2014 1:45 PM in response to Zulaiby iv1985,it happened to me on my iphone 4 . i accidently turned it off in general settings, go to restrictions and turn it back on. then it will reappear and you will still be able to turn it off and on.

At the time it was authored, there was no facetime icon on the home screen. That was introduced in iOS 7.
