My computer does not start?

I turn on my computer mac pro and it does not start...

Portables that will not Power on.

Go step by step.

Note: Steps 5 and 6

Reset SMC.

Choose the method for:

"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".

If this does not help, contact Apple.

Some say it won't start, but it actually does and there is something on the screen.
