Q: Photo stream option greyed out on iCloud.  Cannot check it...why??

I cannot check the Photo Stream option when I open icloud...it is greyed out.  Cannot figure out why????

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

    Do you have  iPhoto 9.2 (or later) or Aperture 3.2 (or later) installed? And are the installed in your Applications folder? If you have moved iPhoto somewhere else, move it back to "Applications".

     

    And are you signed in to iCloud with your AppleID?
