    PLEASE DON'T SHOUT!

SD movies and HD movies are separate purchases.  If you purchased one version, you can get that version at no cost repeatedly.  However, if you want the other version, you must pay for it.

I understand they are seperate purchases but I am not able to download either version and I have already paid for one and I only want one.  Itunes is not allowing either version to download.  I am not trying to get both versions just the one I paid for.

Are you certain you received an iTunes Digital Copy with your movie and not one from Amazon or another outlet?

Digital Copies usualyl come with Redeem codes you need to enter.

To get the movie you go to the Bottom of the Movies Tab in iTunes, and tab on the Redeem Button. Enter the code, and the Movie will be automatically purchased and the download should initate.

What are you doing to get the SD or HD version question?

Yes, it is an ITunes code.  I dont have a problem redeeming it. The code get processed, it asks if I want to download now or later, then it processess again and gives the message about purchasing a hd version vs the sd version.  There is no way to move beyond this point.

I enter the code and it asks if I want to download now or later.  I have tried both ways and still get the same message.

    Hello everyone,
I was having the exact same, irritating, problem.  The only way I was able to work around this lovely little quirk was to redeem the code on my iPod touch.  I would guess it would also work on any apple touch pad device.  I only had to input the code once and it began downloading.  I was then able to go back to my iTunes on PC and it began downloading there too.

*Sidenote: Be sure to uncheck the "Download HD when available" option.

I hope this works and helps the rest of you.
