Jun 16, 2013 3:13 PM in response to Suzette4363by Daz N,Firstly, have you checked your printer is AirPrint compatible?
The AirPort Utility that you have downloaded is only to configure Apple AirPort base stations, not AirPrint printers.

Jun 16, 2013 3:18 PM in response to Suzette4363by Daz N,Okay great, have you checked the printer;
- Has power and is turned on. If it has power, turn the printer off and then on again to see if that resolves the issue.
- Is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iOS device.
- Has the latest firmware version installed.
- Has paper with enough ink or toner installed.
- Is free of any errors displayed on the printer's control panel.
And then tried to print again (or see if the printer is detected).

Jun 16, 2013 3:39 PM in response to Daz Nby Suzette4363,Printer is working fine. iPhone can't find it. I wonder if I should try iCloud airprint to see if that works for me. Have you ever tried either one?

Jun 16, 2013 7:25 PM in response to fab4fiftyby Suzette4363,Thanks. Someone said try turning the printer off, wait a min. turn it on and try again. Sometimes this works. It's getting too late for more troubleshooting so I'll get back to it tomorrow. I don't think I'll ever need to do this action, but I love to know how to do it all whether or not I ever use it. I'm just like that. :-)
