mac vs ipad pages

Question

mac vs ipad pages

will my pages on my mac work on the ipad too or do i have to buy both versions? That is a LOT of money and I really dont want to spend it if i dont have to.

You need both versions

The Mac and the iPad run different operating systems so you need the app for the correct operating system in order for it run.

That's really not what I wanted to her, but thanks for the answer. Is there a way to view or edit the documents without the iPad app if I just get the Mac version?

A quick Google search yielded a number of free apps to view Pages docments on iPad.

The downside is they all stated that their ability to view the documents was limited.

The iOS version is so cheap, even when combined with the cost of the Mac version, that it is hardly a question.

People waste far more money on many other things including phone calls, that this is really just petty cash for what you get.

Don't forget that Apple generously lets you install them on all the Macs or iGadgets that share the same Apple I.D.
