Q: i have two different iphones two different carriers it has really messed up my phone downloads, music, and sync. What do i do to make itunes recognize these phones as separate and two different devices

I have an i phone 4 with one number and one carrier and an iphone 5 with a second number and separate carrier. How do i get my itunes to recognize these two separate devices as two separate devices but allow me to sync them both the same. In other words, if i download a song off itunes from one phone the other phone wont be able to reload it with sync where all the songs are on both phones. Please help!!
