Jan 3, 2015 3:17 PM in response to ManSinhaby drpetzke,Not a new device. I just get the Apple icon on the phone. Can't do anything with it. Computer won't connect as it wants a response from the phone, which is impossible.

Jan 3, 2015 7:05 PM in response to drpetzkeby ManSinha,You do not - in essence if you open the phone you void whatever warranty you have from Apple - this is not like a blackberry or some of the Android phones - what you can do is just let the battery completely run down - which is the nearest equivalent to removing the battery.
If your iOS device restarts, displays the Apple logo, or powers off while you're using it
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
