How do I add contacts in Skype?

Tap on People on the left side panel, then tap on the + (plus sign) at the top right corner of the screen. Type Search Skype Directory and look for the contact you want to add.

When you find it, tap on it to bring up the details page, and then tap on the Add Contact button on the top right of the details page to add it to your conact list
