Q: ipod keeps clicking on and off won't charge

I am having a terrible time with my ipod,. I plugged it in this morning and it just keeps clicking the apple on and off. It says battery very low but I have been

charging it for 4 hours now and I can't shut it off and get it stop clicking. any suggestions?

Hello nic1954,

I understand your iPod classic is no longer responding, even after charging for 4+ hours. I would recommend following this troubleshooting assistant:

Apple - Support - iPod - iPod classic Troubleshooting Assistant

You may need to restore your iPod in disk mode if it continues to be unresponsive:
