Bonjour location

Question

Bonjour location

I'm struggling to get an answer as to why I can't set up AirPrint with 3 Apple devices.

All are running latest software iOS 6.1.3

Latest firmware on printers which is AirPrint enabled.

I've read all the links to help documents that I've been sent and I have done everything.

I'm sure it's something to do with the Bonjour location as I used a different number on the end of the IP address just now and managed to AirPrint from my husbands phone but that is now not working again. 'No AirPrinters Found' again.

I know I'm close - any ideas?

Not sure about router and bonjour packets but as I can print from the Epson iPrint App then I assume the router is OK. Excuse my ignorance! When setting up the router what does one put for the 'Bonjour location'

If its an IP address which one do I use and how do I find it?

Although I did manage to print from my husbands phone yesterday (after fiddling withe the IP address that I had entered for the Bonjour location) using AirPrint but it no longer works.

Are you sure your router is compatible with bonjour packets?

The Epson app does not use bonjour and you needn't worry about the location. What you need to worry with is whether your router can handle bonjour. Check with the manufacturers website.
