Hi,
Just recently my mail has stopped showing any content in any messages on both of my mail accounts.
It started when I was opening a payslip, which is a password protected PDF attachment.
Does anyone know of a possible solution?

Try rebuilding those mail boxes.
Select a mailbox then from the menu bar click Mailbox > Rebuild.
that didn't do anything unfortunately,
initially when I do click on a message the content flashes for less than a second but then it vanishes if thta's any clue?
I'm having the same issue. Did you find any solution for that?

Hi there... I am also having the same issue.
And after the other emails don't open properly. Sometimes the content disappears.
I tried to REBUILD the mail account and nothing changed.
What is going on? Hasn't APPLE shed any light on this yet?

I had a somewhat similar problem - numerals appearing in the mailbox but nothing in the list. Rebuild did not work. I created a new mailbox and moved the content to that -- it worked, new mail is now showing up in the usual way.

In an earlier Mountain Lion update the problem was fixed.
I have no more issues with MAIL. It's working fine!
I'm using the current version of Mountain Lion. Maybe it wasn't fixed for everyone.
