Calendar- Ask before deleting event or confirm delete event

Have searched all thru the documentation and have not found an answer.

Is there a check box or preference to have it ask "Are you sure?" when you delete an event?

I noticed in the Preferences, Advanced section there is a check box for "Ask before sending changes to events".

Don't you think deleting is even more important?

All a user has to do is click once on any event in their calendar, then accidently hit the delete key and poof, it is gone with no trace of what just happened.

Or even worse, they click twice on an event to read the notes, then click Done. Switch to some other program. Later on if they bring the calendar front most, that event is still highlighted, so pressing the delete key will delete that event. No confirmation, nothing.

Anyone got a solution?
