hotweels22, you are not alone. I too have to work with spreadsheets other people have created and don't have an option to 'start from scratch' nor to be given one that fits to the page from the start.

    HI hotwheels,

Any printer whose print dialogue includes a heading that says "Presets" probably has a means of saving new presets. If there is a setting in the dialogue that allows choosing which tray/cassette to pull the paper from, that should be a saveable item in a preset.

The dialogue for your Epson should bear some resemblance to this one:

Note the Presets label beside the second pop-up menu.

Under the orientation icons is another pop-up menu, which usually names the application you are printing from. Below that are the selectable options (hidden behind the menu in this diagram) for whatever item has been chosen in this menu.

Paper source is included in the Print Settings menu shown selected in the image above.

Once you have made all settings choices related to the type of job you are about to do, you can go to the Presets pop-up menu and choose Sav Current Settngs as Preset...

The ellipsis at the end of any menu item indicates this choice will open a dialogue window.

In the dialogue, give the new Preset a recognizeable name, then click Save.

The full setting will now be available as a preset in the Print dialogue for this printer.

Note: The print dialogue appearance will vary by application. The example shows the dialogue as it appears in Safari.

    Regards,

    Barry
