From what I can tell, my facetime on the phone is set up correctly. We're both on wi-fi networks. It says "Connecting" but after a few moments it says "Connection Lost". I tried facetiming to a friend with an iphone4 and had the same problem. The front and rear facing cameras are working. What could be the problem?

On my phone, it's showing the strongest possible wi-fi connection. I'm only seated about 5 feet from the router, so I'm hoping that's not the problem.
I agree with Tim. Sometimes, like if your wifi network is one from a hotel or something, it has trouble working. Since your on an iphone, maybe try using cellular instead of wifi and see if it still is a problem? If not then your wifi has some sort of issue.
