How do I give a Keynote presentation on a different Mac?

I have created a Keynote presentation to deliver to my class.
The instructor uses a Macbook but doesn't have keynote installed.

I tried exporting the presentation to a quicktime file, but it left me without my presenter notes.

I tried exporting the presentation to .ppt -but lost too many cool animations & graphics (which I spent 2 weeks compiling).
I'm contemplating attempting to Share Screen over the local network (if I'm even allowed) but again, think it will leave me without my presenter notes.

Without the advent of iwork in icloud (which would be a perfect solution) -does anyone know of ANY way I can give my Keynote presentation to the class whilst preserving my notes / animations?

(..."apparently" connecting my own Macbook to the projector is out of the question for "security reasons").
Infuriating.
