Jun 17, 2013 1:52 PM in response to GrandmaJanby varjak paw,No, sorry, file transfer via Bluetooth between an Android device and an iOS device is not supported. Bluetooth on iOS is primarly for connecting to speakers, earphones and hands-free devices.
Regards.

Jun 17, 2013 3:34 PM in response to GrandmaJanby IdrisSeabright,You can try installing the app Bump on both devices. As with any BT file transfer, it's going to be slow. Email would be faster.

Jun 18, 2013 6:59 AM in response to IdrisSeabrightby varjak paw,According to the developer's web site, Bumb doesn't work via Bluetooth (not unless there's more than one app called "Bump") and it's not a direct device-to-device transfer. It loads the content up to the developer's web site and then down to the receiving device and hence requires an Internet connection, either through WiFi or a cell service. It still might be an option for Jan, but if so then there would be others such as Dropbox that might also work, or just transferring through a computer.
Regards.

Jun 18, 2013 7:14 AM in response to GrandmaJanby Ralph9430,If there is a way to transfer the photos from your Android phone to the computer you normally sync your iPad with, do that. Then sync your iPad and add those photos to your iPad.

Jun 18, 2013 7:21 AM in response to varjak pawby IdrisSeabright,Thanks, Varjak. It's been a while since I've used it and they keep making changes. I half remember that, a couple of years ago, when I had it on an Android, it used BT. But, I could be misremembering.
