Our iTunes movies are taking 5-12 hours to download via Comcast. Even to just watch Mad Men it took a couple hours. This wasn't a problem in the past and Comcast assures their speeds are fine.
Any suggestions we are getting sick of not being able to watch our shows.

Go to speedtest.net on a computer ans see what sustained internet transfer rates you are getting.
What do Comcast say you should be getting?
Compare the two.
1080p HD needs 8 Mbps, 720p 6 Mbps and SD 2.5 Mbps - slower thna those speeds and you'll have to wait from minutes to hours as the movie/show buffers.

We did a speed test with Comcast and the speed was 20Mpbs.
It must be the wireless router?
It might be slow wireless but I'd be surprised unless you were at the limits of signal - any way you can hook up AppleTV via ethernet to see if that works fine?
