It feels like working with Windows98,
one Crash a day, if you really work with Itunes.
I am sorting my Songs and Playlists for my work in Theater and my DJ Gigs.
2 houres of work = 1 Crash.
And I lost a new Playlist, that took me 2 houres to make.

(that´s german and i don´t think you´ll find that in a dictionary)

I don't have any issues on my Mac with iTunes 11.0.4. Perhaps you should try reinstalling it?
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 - Make sure you uninstall as the article states. If not, there could be conflicts.
At least you have time to make a playlist. Mine will open for a hot minute, then give me the multi-colored beach ball of crashing. Hopefully Apple is reading the responses and is working on a solution.
i use it on a mac with a 10.7.5 system
