I got A IPHONE 4s from Korea with gold plated..but it's backcover says "Design by apple in california" only.No china story.is it fake?

I have an i phone and it is mentioned like that Designed by Apple in california.Can some one please tell me the difference between "Designed by Apple in California Assembled in China" and "Designed by Apple in California" ? Is this fake one or Original..? That phone came from Korea as Factory unlocked one.

I am really messed with that problem 😕

ALL iPhones are "Designed by Apple in the California" and ALL are "Assembled in China" - there are no variations on that labeling. Apple's world headquarters is in Cupertino California, and FoxConn's assembly plants are in China.

Apple has no web site where one can enter and check an IMEI.

The only means of checking service or support at an Apple web site is with the product's serial number

If it weren't a real iPhone the quality would be awful and it would not run iOS. If you can connect it to an iCloud account or restore it in iTunes it's a real device.

That is to check the Activation Lock, not the Service and Support coverage. To check your Service and Support coverage, you need your serial number.
