Jun 20, 2013 8:34 AM in response to Heidihworbirdby bruce1967,I just had a reply from Apple representative and he said they were going to do further investigating and try to resolve the problem as more and more people are experiencing the same problem. He said I'd get an email back when they find or resolve the problem....hopefully soon.

Jun 20, 2013 2:13 PM in response to Heidihworbirdby MrsDDCook,I figured I would clean up my iphone4 today, I guess I picked the wrong day because it's been a fustrating day. I use to be able to log right into my itunes on my computer, hide purchases, sync phone and tada my list would be cleaned up on my phone of purchases I no longer use on it.....however this isn't what is happening as of today! I have tried several times hitting the "X" in the upper left hand corner of 7 apps that I want to hide because I no longer use them....but they are not going to my HIDDEN list and won't go off of my phone either. Has anyone found a soulution or has Apple said anything about the issue?

Jun 20, 2013 5:08 PM in response to MrsDDCookby Heidihworbird,I got a reply from support again. This time they're saying they are aware there is an issue and to give it 72hrs. If after this time the problem persists, to contact them and they will unhide my purchases. I really hope it gets resolved and doesn't get complicated.

Jun 20, 2013 6:25 PM in response to Heidihworbirdby bruce1967,Yes they offered to unhide whatever purchases I wanted too but thats really time consuming and complicated to track down the purchase or order numbers for each thing I purchased. So much easier just to look under purchases and click on it or unhide it and download away. So hopefully by the end of the weekend it will be resolved. I wonder what could have caused this...maybe an update to iTunes to fix this bug is required.

Jun 21, 2013 5:02 AM in response to bruce1967by Heidihworbird,I use the option to hide and unhide quite frequently as a means to organize. If having apple unhide purchases is the only option, that would just be a temporary solution. If I were to get a new iPhone, iPad, or laptop, it would mean going through hundreds of apps, e-books, etc to get the ones I actually use. The hide/unhide feature is a great option and it would be horrible to add a new device without it.

Jun 21, 2013 5:36 AM in response to Heidihworbirdby bruce1967,I use the hide/unhide option quite often too and my library would be a mess too without it. I didn't even bother to get apple to unhide anything for me because it takes me too long to track down the purchase numbers...such a pain. It was perfect the way it was, god knows what happened to it but I hope it's fixed soon.

Apr 27, 2014 2:03 AM in response to Heidihworbirdby Uberduber,Almost 1 year on and this is still an issue.
Ironically on my Windows machines I can unhide music purchases in iTunes with ease. On my mac in iTunes there is no option.
In the store it shows Purchased on all the things I want to download but it is greyed out.
Can't believe it has been over and year and no fix!

Dec 23, 2014 9:06 AM in response to Uberduberby Adman1955,This is still a problem in iTunes 12, in Mavericks. The hide/unhide buttons in the iTunes store simply don't work. Click on the buttons and absolutely nothing happens. Almost 2 years and nothing is resolved.

Jul 8, 2015 10:57 AM in response to Heidihworbirdby DWAVEN,I have the same problem only slightly..? I can hide all my music and unhide it.. Most of it. When I click unhide on certain albums and songs nothing happens, and it's not that Itunes has stopped responding. I'm not sure why I'm able to unhide only certain music. I think it might be a bug on Itunes. If anyone was wondering I am running on Windows and have Match and that new music app subscription (IOS Update 8.4). Perhaps its those that are interfering.

Jul 11, 2015 2:44 PM in response to DWAVENby xinl,It's happening for me on OS X and iOS versions of iTunes Store as well. I just got off a long call with Apple Support/Engineer. The developer was not able to find out what exactly is causing this. In the end the iTunes Store Accounting team manual unhidden them for me and acknowledged that I'm not the only one having this problem.
What I've noticed is that all the songs that I can't unhide happens to have very long album names that contain parenthesis.
