If you want to actually remove the software, see:

Are yout talking about wanting to prevent some one from remotely connecting to your mac using Apple remote desktop?

Apple Remote Desktop (client) is built into the mac operating system. It's part of the operating system so you wouldn't want to remove it. it's normal to see it show up in software. Like any OS update, they're instead to improve the computer, Regardless if your using the feature or not.

Apple Remote Desktop (client) is off by default. So unless it's turned on, no one can connect to your computer using ARD.

You can tell if it's off or on by looking at system preferences sharing. You can get there by:

    1. white menu bar at the top of the screen
    2. click on apple menu
    3. chose system prefernces
    4. click show all button
    5. click sharing

If Apple Remote Desktop (client) is on, "Remote Management" will be checked, to turn it off, you just uncheck it.
