I have searched through the pages and tried resetting, unchecking etc etc Re installed flash to no avail
Can anyone help me? Driving me insane!!

If you have the Develop menu enabled, click Develop from the Safari menu bar. From the drop down menu if there is a check mark nex to Disable Images, click there once to disable.
If that isn't the issue, try troubleshooting plugins and extensions.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Security tab.
Deselect: Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.
If it's not a plug-in issue, select the Extensions tab. If there are any extensions installed, turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that made a difference, uninstall one at a time, quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Tried all of those and still no joy sadly.
I've just read that DNS setting can also affect safari? I've been back from Barbados for about 2 weeks but didnt change anything - Sorry I have no clue but thought worth to mention,
No problem ..
Try a different DNS... see if that makes a difference.
Open System Preferences > Network. Click Advanced then select the DNS tab.
Click + then add this address:
208.67.222.222
Click + again and add this address:
208.67.220.220
Click OK.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
