Q: How do I change my iCloud email address?

I was able to change the initial email over to my apple ID but the address associated with mail is still the @icloud one.  How do I either change the @icloud address or switch the mail to my apple ID?

iPad 2, iOS 6.1.3

You can't change your iCloud email address short of creating a new account (which would also create a new @icloud.com address).  You can create an alias @icloud.com address which will receive incoming email in your current iCloud inbox (see http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2622).  If you do this, be aware that the address cannot later be used to create a new iCloud account, be transferred to another account or be reactivated should you ever delete it.

You can't use a non-iCloud email address as your iCloud email address, if that's what you're trying to do.
