Printing 3x5 Card

I've set up a recipe card template in Pages with a paper size of 5" wide and 3" tall so I can print right on cards for the Mrs..

I try printing them on my HP LaserJet 1320, but nothing ever prints. Is there some setting I'm missing here?

Then it's probably not really available for your printer. I'm not sure how old that one is, but HP hasn't had good support for really small sizes for most of their run. If you still have the documentation for your printer, check to see the minimum size and minimum printable area.

The problem I've found with some of the HP lasers is that they can feed the small cards fine, but they can't set up a minimum printable area in the right place for where the paper feeds. (In other words, it's probably printing, but beside the card, not on it.)

Try running a letter sized sheet of paper through (with the 3x5 size selected) to see if it's putting down toner anywhere.

Was just thinking. I believe that Avery or someone makes tabbed recipe cards that come two or three to a regular letter sized sheet. You might have better luck with those, if you have more than one recipe to print at a time. If Avery has a Word template for them (check their site once you know the product number for the cards) you can open it in Pages.
