Q: Finalize a disk

I've drag a file and burned it on to a re-writable disk. Can anyone tell me how I can finalise it using Mountain Lion please.

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

I believe the default is to close the session. You have to go out of your way to leave it appendable:
http://support.apple.com/kb/PH5823

Unless they've changed things, I don't believe OS X will do multi-session DVDs, only CDs.
