Migration

Can I stop migration from my old MacBook Pro to my new one, use the new one and restart migration later? I forgot to customise migration and everything is coming over yet I only need the documents and not the photos etc for now. I need to use one of the Mac Book Pros for work so want to stop the migration process. 16 hrs left using Ethernet connections!
