Q: is it possible to preinstall itunes u content on ipads via apple configurator?

i work in an university library and we want to make ipads available for users to borrow them. on these ipads we will preinstall some apps, e.g. itunes u and we also want to give them some content. With the apple configurator it is easy to manage preinstallation of apps. but when i try to import an itunes u content-filer (e.g. https://itunes.apple.com/de/itunes-u/philosophie-open-access-lmu/id418118348)  an endless import action is started. so my question is: is it possible to manage itunes u content on ipads via apple configurator?

Olivetti:  Trying to figure out the same thing.  Also a librarian at a University. Did you ever find a solution?

not at all. for the moment we handle this problem by writing an image everytime we (think we) have to update the itunes u content. an update becomes necessary when users give us the iPad back and we recognize that there is good new stuff on it or whenever colleagues tell us to do so.

With a new rollout of this image we offer new itunes u content on our iPads.
