How are the photos stored in the SD card?

The Photos must be in a folder called DCIM, and have a name of no more than 8 characters in length plus 3 characters for the extension i.e.  image005.jpg.

Is an SD card the same as a Micro SD card. The supported card is an SD card. Others do not work.

Have you tried connecting the camera to the iPad directly?

Do you have the "Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader" or are you trying to use an actual "iPad Camera Connection Kit" through a "Lightning to 30-pin Adapter"? I'm not sure that second way is supposed to work.

Ralph9430, a Micro SD card is electrically the same as an SD card, just smaller. There are physical adapters available to make them fit together.

Tikal singh, you are using the proper SD-MicroSD adapter, right?
