My Iphone 5 and Macbook Air will not connect Via Bluetooth

I am trying to connect my Iphone 5 to my Macbook Air via bluetooth. The connection is successful but when I try and use the connection for my keynote remote it will not allow it. Please help. I have to have the remote for a presentation that will be coming up. Wifi is very spotty in the building that I will be in and I am hoping that Bluetooth will work.

Thanks!!

Hello BenjaminHirschauer,

Unfortunately, you cannot use Keynote Remote via Bluetooth with a Mac. However, as an alternative to the spotty wifi, you may consider creating your own 'computer-to-computer' WiFi network from your MacBook Air.

Using Keynote Remote

When a Wi-Fi connection is unavailable you can use Keynote Remote with Bluetooth to control your Keynote slideshow from one iOS device to another (iPad, iPhone, iPod touch). However, slides may take longer to appear on Keynote Remote when connected via Bluetooth. You cannot use Keynote Remote via Bluetooth with a Mac.

All the best,

Allen
