My L key on my MacBook Pro is no longer working. Is there anything I can do to get it to work again?

My L key on my MacBook Pro is no longer working. Is there anything I can do to get it to work again?

I have rebooted several times and had no luck it the key "reactivating" itself.

Nothing changed on the keyboard. It literally just stopped working.

Bonus is that L is a part of my password, so I am also locked out of my personal files, etc.

HELP! 🙂

Thank you in advance!

You can change your password to avoid the "L" and you can take your machine into Apple for a keyboard replacement, free under AppleCare/warranty.

See #6 here

and if your on 10.6 and no boot disks
