Cannot sync why? Is that the only error message that you received?

Quit iTunes, restart your computer, reboot your iPad and try again. Also provide some more details when you respond.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

    Thanks for replying.

I restarted my ipad & my computer and it still won't work.

When I go into the movies it shows that I ordered a movie in "Rented Movies", I click "move" and it goes over to my ipad and I click apply to sync.  It goes through all the steps and then the movie jumps back into the "Rented Movies" spot.

Then I try to go into the movie on my ipad and it says I have not purchased anything.

I talked to Apple Support and they reinbursed me the amount of the movie and told me to download it again from my ipad.

I don't watch the movie from my "Videos app" right, I go into itunes and click videos on my ipad.

    Thanks,

No. You watch it in the Videos app. iTunes on the iPad is merely a link to the store.

You cannot play downloaded content in iTunes. You can play samples of songs and movie and TV show trailers, but downloaded muisc is played in the Music App and downloaded Movies and TV Shows are played in the Videos App.

    Thanks,

It is not in the Video app either.

I guess I will try again.

Unless I have totally missed something, rentals are played in the videos app as well as purchased movies. Like I said, iTunes is only a store on the iPad. Look at the top of the Videos app. There is a Movies Tab or a Rentals tab in there.

"You can only play your rented movies on the computer you rented it from and only if it is authorized to play your iTunes Store purchases and rentals."

I don't know how it works with other part from same article, but it is what it is.

"You can move the rental between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period. However, the movie can only be played on one device at a time. If you rent a movie on an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV, it is not transferable to any other device and you must watch it on that device."

Bryner was instructed to download the movie again to his iPad by iTunes support - so if that was what he did, what you are saying has no bearing on this issue.

"I talked to Apple Support and they reinbursed me the amount of the movie and told me to download it again from my ipad."
