All Apps keep crashing

For all of you that are still having problems with the apps crashing on your phones.. I too had this problem. But for me, there was a simple fix. I do not know if this will work for you but I figured it would be worth a try because it definitely worked for me. Go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage. if you have no storage left, you need to delete some things from your device. the list will be organized by apps taking up the most storage on your iDevice. delete whatever you want. I believe it causes the apps to crash because all apps on your iDevice build up cache which will take up memory. when your device is out of memory, it cannot build up anymore cache which causes the app to reject itself and crash. Hope this helps you! I know how scary it is thinking your phone is broke and almost having to restore!

Did you find out the cause of you problem in the end - I am getting exactly the same problem https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5107020 - my iphone or ipad still crash when I have one app open and GB's of free memory.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated...

Are the crashing apps all of your apps, all of the non default apps or just certain apps?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

It's got me stumped. Don't see how those two apps would cause that kind of behavior across ALL apps on two devices. Maybe take both devices to the Apple store and have them try again to figure it out?

Well for my issue after a few weeks the problem just stopped happenning and all back to normal again - all I can think was that a specific app was causing the problem and must have got an update to it during this period that fixed it!

Exactly same problems on iPhone 5 and iPad mini

It started with whatsapp, now even Keynote is not working on my iPad and I really need to use it for work.
