changing user name and owner information

i have bought a new macpro and wish to give my older macair to my daughter. How do I change the user ID and home folder to her name. I have added her name as a user in the users and groups window and deleted mine. I notice that the home folder is still in my name (the little house icon in the menu bar.

I have cleaned all my info off with migration assitant (and deleted all after that), and then installed OS 10.8 for her. it did not give me the option to do a clean install.

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Hello nilsfromwa,

The process for performing a clean install, or "Erase and Install" has changed somewhat with Lion and Mountain Lion.

However, if you'd like to avoid running all the way back through the process of installing Mountain Lion, you can change the name of the home folder manually.
