Airport Extreme is blinking yellowMy and MacPro cannot 'see' Airport extreme - any suggestions? I've tried switching everything off and back on.

I am trying to put my printer on the wireless network by connecting it by USB to my Airport Extreme.The Airport Extreme is blinking yellow and my MacPro cannot 'see' Airport extreme on the wireless network. The Airport card on the MacPro is picking up the wireless network from the wireless modem with good strength i.e. I'm online wirelessly.I've tried switching everything off and back on. Any suggestions as to what is wrong and what I should do?

Mac Pro (Early 2008), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Sounds like the AirPort Extreme needs to be [re]configured with AirPort Utility. You may have to join the Extreme's temporary setup network to do that.


Is your Extreme normally wired to the modem or connected wirelessly?
