why can't I download java 7 for osx 10.8

Java 7 is in Oracle's site > http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre7-downloads-1880261.h tml?ssSourceSiteId=otnes The Java version that Apple gives is Java 6.

Have you got any problem installing Java 7 on your Mac?
