You can't without typing in the passcode. If you can't remember it then the only way to remove the code is to connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and reset the iPad which will remove all content from it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode in order to be able to reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808

If you have a backup on your computer's iTunes then you should get the option to restore to that, or do you have an iCloud backup ?
