Encode selected audio files?

Does anyone know what this means or where I can read about this function?

I don't see anything happening and I don't know what it is supposed to do.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

This function in the Mac OSX allows WAV and AIFF tracks to be converted to 128 Kbps AAC, iTunes +, Apple Lossless or spoken format.

It does not convert WAV to mp3. There are number of free apps to do this. If the music is in iTunes you can use this to convert.
