Im in a group chat but my imessage (blue send button) is only available every now and again, even when I have a strong wi-fi or 3G connection?

I recommend using this resource to help troubleshoot that occasional graying out of the send button. Since it is something that happens intermittently it may take some time to get the issue fully resolved.
