Is OS X 10.8 compatible with Adobe Creative Suite 5.5?

I've read on other forums that Adobe CS will not launch after upgrading to Mountain Lion. Is this still accurate or has this issue been resolved?

The original CS apps will not launch under Lion or Mountain Lion as it is all PowerPC code. The bare minimum of the CS line with Intel code is CS3.

CS 5.5 and CS6 are officially supported in Mountain Lion by Adobe. Older versions back to CS3 do work, but some functions may not work well.

My statement meant that CS or CS2 cannot run directly in Mountain Lion because they are PPC code. What Michael is showing is Snow Leopard Server running in the Parallels VM software. You can then run your otherwise unusable PPC software in the VM. Here, he has the original PS CS running, even though Lion is the host OS.

You were asking about CS5.5 though, so this is not necessary. It will run under ML as is. Michael's note is certainly still useful if you have other PPC software to run that you either can't update, or is too expensive to update.
