Did you install the Windows Support Software after you installed Windows?
Similar problem. I installed Win8 plus separate round of install of Windows Support Software (twice). No luck / no wifi. No wifi device recognized in Win8. This is a Macbook Air 2013 (Haswell).
Install in a VM instead.
Turn the computer off, and unplug it. Wait 5 minutes. Then reinstall the drivers (I just ran the Broadcom Ethernet x64 exe from the drivers directory). The drivers will now install properly.
Did u ever get wifi to work in windows?
No never have, do you have any link to drivers for this just curious because I was doing this for my friend on his mac and he just went back to using apple OS.
Thanks
Later models of Mac must download the support drivers through Bootcamp Assistant. Is that how your friend got them or did he download them from the Apple support site?
i took it to the Apple store (i bought this used with an older system and windows 7 with bootcamp already installed..did not connect to WIFI then either)...the Apple rep updated to Mavericks which had some updated Bootcamp software...uninstalled Windows. I then had to reinstall Windows...but still no WIFI to windows side.
i am desperate here as if i cannot get WIFI to windows side I can't keep this laptop!
Does anyone know if WIFI will work with Parallels?
thanks for any help...
no...when Mavericks was installed it had a new Bootcamp driver.
