Thanks to everyone for their replies, I have put in a request for apple support I will call them, hopefully they can help out, but find sometimes they just fluff things off and tell you to buy something new...Happened to me last year I had a new Iphone and my computer got hacked (apparently through the iphone) and they told me to buy a new Iphone and back ups and support for this lap top, and all kinds of other things, since then have had quite a bit of problems with this laptop, don't think they really did much. If they suggest I buy another Mac Air (this one is only a year) I think I might have problems trying not to laugh, I don't intend on spending tons of money again on Apple.
I love Apple, but not too happy with them since this problem started a year ago, I might just go to a computer reprair shop but I did purchase the Apple Care so I will give them a try. I find on the phone they are pretty good, but in the store not always, there are some technicians that are helpful but the one I had when I took it in when it was hacked and he was told by a senior tech. to wipe out the computer (great lost all my stuff and pictures because the backup didn't work and took 3 months to get all my itune songs back) anyways, maybe it was just a bad experience so don't want to be bitter.
