Q: My airport express shows a green light but I can't access the web with it and it won't accept the latest software update.

My Airport Express shows a green light but I can't access the web with it and it won't accept the latest software undate.  I'm thinking I need to do a reset back to the factory settings and start over ... any thoughts?

    You might, but before you do that please determine the model number of your Express: look on its case for a four digit number precedeed by the letter A.

     

    Also, please determine the version OS X you are using, or if you intend to use an iPad / iPhone to configure the Express. On a Mac go to  > About This Mac. The OS X version appears under the big OS X icon.

     

    Finally, the page you linked above discusses configuring a Wireless Distribution System. Is that what you already have, or need to do?
