I just bought an Apple Remote for my MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion, but the "Menu" button doesn't seem to react at all.
Could someone help me woth this issue? I chossed the remote, especifically to use with a sources menu like Front Row, just as it is written on the description product.

There is no Front Row with Mountain Lion. It was withdrawn when Lion was issued, as incompatible.
You can still use it for 3rd party apps that support the remote like Plex.

Plex seems to work just fine.
But I still think that Appel should be more careful about its products description.
I have the same problem -- I bought a remote recently for my Mac Book Pro (late 2011, 10.7.5) and the menu button doesn't function. I would like it to work with simple fucntions -- presentations (powerpoint), audio tracks, etc.
I have read two suggestions to solve the problem: the plex application, and the front row enabler for Lion.
Which one will serve my needs and be stable?
