mail won't open and I cannot restart my computer because a message comes up and says that it's because mail is open. Uhm notsomuch. New iMac desktop. Got from worst buy with Geek squad warranty and none of the Geeks know iMacs! New Mac person here.

Bought new iMac desktop. New to iMac's. Bought two year Geek Squad warranty and none to date know iMac's. Note to self, do not buy from Worst Buy. Problem is that I cannot get any of my mail accounts to open and I cannot restart my computer because it says that my mail is open! Where is my mail? Tks in advance for any help here.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Press Alt, Command and Esc keys, so Force Quit will appear. Select Mail and quit it, so you will be able to restart the iMac
