Directories with umlaut don't show up in WebDAV volumes

When I mount the volumes of our Synology RackStation via WebDAV to my MacOSX 10.8 everythings works fine, except directories having an umlaut in its name disappear in the Finder. You cannot access them via Finder or via an "Open..." dialogue in an application. Nevertheless if you navigate to the directory in teh Shell (Terminal.app) you will see all directories, even the ones with umlaut.

There has been reported a similar bug with NFS mounts in this community which could be healed by applying a mount parameter called "NFD". Unfortunately this is not possible with WebDAV mounts. It's really crazy that a UTF-aware app like the Finder is not able to show such directory or file names whic hare very common in countries outside the US.
