Hi all!
I just bought an iPad yesterday... when setting up the iCloud ID I didn't realize that would be my username when iMessaging people (until after the fact)... Is there a way to change the username?
Also- any tips on favorite apps, iPad cases, etc are greatly appreciated!

What do you mean by iCloud username? Did you setup an Apple ID with your own email address? Your username that people will see when you message them is whatever you have yourself listed as in your Contacts App. They should see your real name if you have your real name associated with the email address in the contacts app.
it seems a perfectly reasonable question to me, so I will clarify: How do I change my iCloud name? And also my apple I.d. As well?
