I can send emails but not receive them . I am connected to my service provider and I can still send and receive emails on my ipod. Can anyone help? tell me what to do

I can send emails but not receive them, I am connected to my service provider . I have checked through connection doctor and all green lights. I can receive emails on my ipod through the same provider. Help omeone please .
